Well ladies and gentlemen, Spring is almost here! well kinda..... depending on what part of the world you live in. This spring you will see a lot of pastels, brights, and prints! As we transition from winter to spring, the excitement for warm weather continues. This week I will focus on some spring looks as we get into the warm weather, so stay tuned. My first look is what I like to call "Casual Glam." The nice thing about our generation is that you can mix up different looks because there are no limitations to what you can wear! (As long as you are wearing your clothing, not your clothing wearing you). For all the ladies wanting to look casually glamourous, I found some economical ways you can get this type of look, leaving feeling bad about your purchase out the door!

Always remember, Fashion comes and goes, style is eternity! xo

Lady Style of The Week

Let me introduce you to the lady style of the week Ms. Tess!! This stylish lady embraces vintage to the fullest! Ms. Tess purchased everything she's wearing from local second hand charity stores, with the exception of the gold snake bracelet and the alligator bracelet. She has a love for unique-vintage pieces and second hand stores, and finds that they are the best places to get your hands on vintage. Tess points out that when you support non-profit second hand stores you don't have to justify your purchase because you know that the money you spend is going back to support the community.

The dress is vintage and altered it herself to make the hemline short in the front with a longer train in the back. The purse is a Canadian designer MasterCraft, it is vintage as well. The shoes are Mimosa purchased from Browns (she only ever spends $ on shoes). The fur collar is vintage as well, it was detachable so she took it off of a coat of mine. Her shades in the next pic are by far her fav purchase of the year! Authentic Ray Ban glass lens, bought at a second hand store for the amazing price of $4.99. The coat is also vintage, and is from Salvation Army. Her bracelets are all from second hand stores except for the gold snake one, which was purchased at Guess and the black bracelet beside it was a souvenir that she picked up when she was in Africa. Tess's outfit is evidence that vintage has been and always will be in STYLE! NEXT STOP.......A LOCAL SECOND HAND CLOTHING STORE!!!! can't wait ;)

www.quennierose.ca
So, how many of you ladies (and some gentlemen) love getting their make up done? If so, let me introduce you to Ms. Quennie Rose, my best friend the make- up artist! This fabulous lady and I have been friends since sailor moon used to air on YTV.....now wasnt that forever ago? For as long as I could remember, Quennie has always been into make-up. As tweens she would mess around with lipsticks, foundations, and eyeliner. Its actually safe to say that she was born to do what she does. She has a natural eye for color and an artistic hand. This women can do anything from everyday make-up to movie make-up. Not yet convinced? Than I suggest you check out her work below :) you could also check out her website at www.quennierose.ca.

Lady Style of The Week

Let me introduce to you Ms. Jenna, our lady style of the week! I found this pretty lady at a night club called Rouge, here in Ontario. What caught my eye about her outfit was her top which she purchased at Costa Blanca. Every girl has a pair of leggings they absolutely love, they are comfortable but are still conveniently stylish. Jenna purchased her leggings at American Apparel. Her shoes (which you can hardly see...sorry) where purchased at Aldo, along with her bracelets. Jenna's cute clutch is also from Costa Blanca. Jenna's look proves that remaining classy and cute can still be sexy! Love Jenna's look? here are some ideas:

Lady style of the week

Let me introduce to you my first Lady Style of the week... Ms. Nyna! Nyna did a fantastic job at styling up her outfit to hit up the club. What do I love the most about her outfit? the skirt of course. But I also loved the way she merchandised it up with the purse, which she purchased at Value Village and her earrings, from Suzy Shier. Nyna purchased her skirt at Artizia and her shirt from Banana Republic. Talk about fashionista or what?!! Pulling off a thrifty piece with brands is SHEER TALENT! Nyna's outfit comes to show, that its not about what and who you wear, its about how you wear it! Check her out :) xoxo

Paswara Label

Owners and designers: Glen and Will Pasco, Winnipeg, Manitoba

Might I just start off by saying how proud I am of these two BEAUTIFUL SOULS! Both brothers grew up in the west end of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Glen is the designer and co-owner, along with his brother William, and their mother Ruby. Both  Glen and Will where educated in Toronto, Glen for fashion design and Will for Political Science.
When I first walked into the Paswara Studio , I was immediately intrigued by the authentic look of the studio. I was greeted by both Will and Glen, who where so humble and genuine. During our interview I had so many questions for both Will and Glen, considering we all love fashion, and we all grew up in the west end ;)

Me: Where does the name Paswara come from?

Will: "We chose the name Paswara cause it comes from our roots, It comes from both our parents sir names, Pasco and Osawara. Pasco being Spanish and Oswara being Japanese, we are Filipino and have Spanish and Japanese roots."

Me: As a designer, what inspires you?

Glen: "Looking inside myself. Instead of trying to be inspired by the outside, I look within myself. I also love being surrounded by beautiful and artistic things, and I am intrigued by the physique of a women.

Me: What makes Paswara label unique?

Will: "We have both experienced tragedy in our lives, and we believe that people should take their tragic experiences and turn them into something beautiful instead of looking at it as a negative experience, we try to show the idea of taking something negative and turning it into a positive in our designs."

Glen: "There is a revolution which is about finding yourself and being who are, and this is what inspires our designs. We have icons such as Lady gaga who preach this revolution in her music, and which in, turn inspires us."

Paswara Labels is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba,  4-86 Albert Street and specialise in pre-desings, custom designs and styling. You could also check out there website at www.paswaralabel.com

In the words of Will and Glen......ALWAYS BE TRUE TO YOURSELF! XOXO

Bringing in the new year with SPARKLES!

My sparkle peep toe, purchased at Le Chateau :)
 HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!
Glitter and sparkle are always in during the holiday season, that's why this new years eve I chose to wear my silver sparkle peep toe high heels (Which by the way, my bf purchased for me ;) Bringing in the new year with pure  FABULOUSNESS felt great! I got so many compliments it made me sick. I even had someone want to buy them off me! The great thing about these shoes is that you can wear them with almost everything! that's right I said everything! A cocktail dress, jeans, tights, skirts...need I say more? These shoes scream GLAMOUR! and if you don't already own a pair, I suggest you get out there and purchase these bad boys! It doesn't necessarily have to be the ones I own, as long as they sparkle just as much as you do ;) HAPPY NEW YEAR XOXO
